Editorial The diversity of relieves, soils and climates give Algeria a great potential in the production of quality vines. This
natural wealth combined with an age-old tradition and a judicious choice
of vines enable Algeria to ensure a vast range of vintage wines intended
for true connoisseurs. The
Algerian red wines, characterized by the depth of their color, a
richness in alcohol and dry extract as well as by a variety of aroma,
succeed to assert themselves among the wines of recognized quality.
With a limited recourse to fertilizers treatment and to mineral manuring, the Algerian wines become choice wines. These
conditions are at present exploited to gain a label of wines stemmed
from the agriculture led under biological mod. It is these miscellaneous assets that ONCV, leader of wine channels in Algeria, exploits to promote the Algerian wines throughout the world
